At Inox Wind, we consider safety as a prime requirement for all of our activities. Various safety systems have been designed for the WTGs operations:

• Aerodynamic braking using pitch system to protect the WTG from adverse wind forces.
• A mechanical disc brake is mounted on the high speed shaft of the gearbox and hydraulically operated using an intelligent braking system which controls the braking sequence.
• A rotor lock device at the input shaft enables the drive train to be mechanically locked during maintenance.
